History of the Trinidad Head Memorial Lighthouse

U.S. Coast Guard Archive Photo of the Trinidad Head Lighthouse Trinidad Head Lighthouse

This is an attraction that is located in town for the benefit of all the tourists. It is near-perfect reproduction of the Trinidad Head Light and actually houses the old Head's Fresnel lens. Hiking trails lead to the original Trinidad Head light, but from what I have heard, it's quite a hike.

Directions: From Highway 101 in Eureka, exit at Westhaven Drive and follow it west. The name will change to Main Street. Follow Main Street to the end, and make a left onto Trinity Street. Follow Trinity Street to the end. You will see the lighthouse right in front of you.
