Back in the early 1900s, Harbor Beach was a major port. Many vessels sought out its shelter. Also in town was a Life Saving Station that was one of the busiest on all of Lake Huron. The port is much less busy today, but the light is still active.
Directions: From State Route 25 heading south into Harbor Beach, make a left onto Pack Street. Follow this to the end, from here, you can see the lighthouse.
