History of the Grand Island East Channel Lighthouse

The lighthouse was decommissioned in 1913, and it certainly does show. This picture was taken in 1974 by Paul E. Petosky and the lighthouse for the most part looks the same. But a group of people, including the owner have started to try and raise money to restore the lighthouse.

This photograph was contributed by Paul E. Petosky. Please visit his website, Postmarks from the Past - MI Postal History
